Friday night I got the ambition to try controlling the TIME DELAY parameter with the CP-251. The 251 and a VX-351 are powered off an Electric Blue.

I immediately got 8-10K ringing, sounds like feedback. Traced it back to the cable from the final out I was using on the 251 to the SD. Another odd thing happened too. I switched over to guitar to check the SD input and the delay quit working. Didn't matter switching the pedal switch off-on. It passed signal, but no delyed signal.

I unplugged the SD, plugged it back in and had delay function again.

On the 251 ringing issue, the entire rack of goodies over here is fed off the same circuit, and it's grounded. I'm an electrician by trade and I know my home power system is good. The ringing was NOT patch specific, it was patch universal.

Any ideas??? Anybody else running into this issue with CV's causing ground loops or other weirdness???

Hello, You may want to try powering the CP-251 from it's own wall...
