Let me get this straight.

In the US it's $225 (around £130). Is that right!?

Turnkey (the UK retailer) want £250 for the upgrade board!!!!!!

£250 for an extra few banks of sounds!?!?!? I'm only using about 20 slots on mine at the minute.
