For a while I was getting some weird shorting thing going on with my ring mod where all the output just sounded like a high-pitched nasal buzz when it was turned on; however I found through chance experimentation that if I plugged the end of a 1/4" jack into one of the lower rear input jacks, somehow it would sorta shock the MoogerFooger back into sounding like it's supposed to. But then it got harder & harder to make it go back to its normal sound, and now I can't get it to go back at all - anybody know what might be up with it and whether I might be able to fix it myself? I've had it for about a year and a half, bought it new from Moog, but I think it's out of warranty now.. If I have to send it back to Moog to be fixed, what kind of repair bill am I likely looking at?

You should just call up moog.
