Hi all,

I hope someone might be able to help me here as I don't know much about this topic. I live in Australia and am considering the purchase of a CP-251 from the USA. Australia uses 240v power whereas the US uses 110v. I know that it is possible to purchase a 220v power supply for use with the CP251 but I was wondering whether the actual CP-251's are different depending on their intended market ? For example I know some synths have a switch on the back allowing the user to select between different voltages. Can I just use a local 9v 500ma power supply to drive the CP251 or will it explode ?

Any help or comments appreciated.
