Ebay is having a 50% off fixed price listing day today. The new fee increase goes into effect in a couple of weeks so this will be the last time you can add the extra features at the current rate and get a discount on your listing costs.

I think ebay will be doing this a lot more often as last year they had several of these. I think last years fee increase cost them a lot of business and this year it will be no different. I fully expect another increase in the amount of dealers who restrain from listing items due to the high cost of doing business on ebay. In December I did not take advantage of their half price fixed price listing day. I do not think I will list much of anything today either. Ebay has been pricing themselves out of the market.

If you do take advantage of this "sale" run 10 day listings of more expensive better quality items. Be very picky in what you choose to list. Best wishes to all and may your sales be enough to cover the cost of your inventory, ebay's high listing and final value fees (not to mention paypal) and of course make you a nice profit!
