Hi,

I just bought a Etherwave assembled from Audiomidi recently and upon power up found out that unit didn't produce any sound at all.Since I am in Malaysia I specifically ordered a 220v power supply. Although at first I was suspicious of the voltage of the adapter as it comes in 2 flat pins with a round pin in the middle, I then turn on just the adapter and discovered that it didn't blew up so I thought it was OK. It also didn't have either the 110v or the 220v box checked so no way I can confirm whether it is in the 220v or not. I let it on for a while and it was warm when touch. When I connect it to the Etherwave, no sound whatsoever came out from the unit.

After testing out with different soket points i discovered that even when the adapter was on for a while it was not warm to the touch anymore.So I suspect that there could be something wrong with the adapter itself.I hope there is nothing wrong with the Etherwave itself. In the end I used a multimeter to test out if there is voltage coming from the adapter itself and the results are none. Meaning the adapter is not working

My question is does Moog's 220v adapter works in a 230v / 240v environment? Most South East Asian countries are having 230v / 240v voltages. So does UK and Australia. Anybody have used it with success? Can the 10v -20v difference kill the adapter? Will appreaciate any advise and info.
