Hi, I live in Australia and just recieved my brand new Moog etherwave standard theremin which I bought through a registered dealer off ebay....I unpacked the beauty, set it up and plugged the power adaptor in......BAM and heaps of smoke....It blew up!
I have since found out I was sent the 110v adaptor (which you can't tell as neither 110 or 240 was ticked on the sticker on the adapter...which I reckon sucks!!) and that is why it blew up as Australia uses 220V

Anyway I now have no powersupply and no one in Aus stocks anything similar in voltage and milli amps......

any suggestions? can I use a similar voltage.....eg 16v instead of 14v....and 500ma instead of 200ma?

Can't wait to hear it eventually.

any help would be greatly appreciated.
