I got a recipe from school for dirt cake, a dessert with oreo crumbs and pudding in layers. In school we used a food processer for making crumbs of the oreos. However at home, we dont have a food processer. We do have a spice grinder though, but the space is smaller then a fist. I was wondering if a blender could be used as a substitute? If not, what else could I use?

Yes you could use a blender I just recently made this same dessert for...

The two machines are not the same.

And a wonderful method if you've had an off day.
