There is a little known feature of this software known as the ignore list. I found myself updating my list recently and thought others here might find it useful too.

The feature essentially turns off posts by users you'd rather not read, find annoying or whatever. You can still view the post with an extra click, but it's not there in the basic view.

Anyway, click User CP. The very last entry in the control panel area is Buddy/Ignore Lists. Click that link. Now your browser displays some text boxes in two lists. The Buddy list and the Ignore List. Type the user name of the member you want to ignore. Then click Update Ignore List.

Now when that user makes a post in thread you're reading, the entry is blank and there is an option to click to view the post if you want to.

You can remove users from the list by deleting their name out of the text box and clicking Update Ignore List. You also have the option of removing them from your list in any of their posts. A special link is present for just that purpose.

Now you all know how to never see my posts again.
