Q. I have an account on PartyPoker or one of the former skins(Empire,Multi,Pokernow). When I try to open an account on one of the other skins, I get an error message stating that I already have an account on their network. Am I allowed to have accounts on multiple party skins?

A. Party (et al) is trying to discourage the casual gamer from signing up on multiple skins. However, if you get past this security check, you will not have any issues. There are two ways to deal with this

1) Register your new account from another "clean" computer that hasn't had any party skins installed on it. You will then be able to deposit/play/cashout from your original computer.

or

2) Run regedit, and delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE:SOFTWARE:Calculator. If you are unfamiliar with the windows registry editor, you may want to stick with method 1, as you can seriously screw up your machine.

Here are the steps:

1. CONTROL PANEL - Add/Remove Programs : Delete all party skins

2. MANUALLY DELETED the PartyPoker and skins folders from "Program
Files". Seems that Step 1 didn't catch this.

my computer >> local disk (:C)>>program files

2. REGEDIT: Do a search for "regedit". It should be in the "c:\windows" folder. Open it. Click on tabs: HKEY_CURRENT_USER >> Software >> then delete (Party skin) folder.

3. REGEDIT: Go back to the registry folder. Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE >>SOFTWARE>> Calculator>> (delete the UCID file)

3. FIREFOX AND IE: Delete all cookies, cache, and history.

Mozilla: tools>> options>> privacy>> clear all

4. SEARCH ALL FILES AND FOLDERS FOR "PARTY" or "empire" etc. then delete them.

5. SEARCH THE REGISTRY - for any additional keys relating to "PARTY" etc - If so delete

6. REBOOT

7. INSTALL party skin with a different email address.

All other pertinent info remained the same - name, username, street address, Neteller.

8. REINSTALL SKIN

Q. There's a redeposit bonus at XXX. What happens if I deposit to claim the bonus, then immediately withdraw.

A. The bonus remains even after an immediate withdrawal at Party, Pokerstars, UB, Absolute and Paradise. Note that Absolute bonus money expires after 60 days. Party bonuses typically expire within 7-30 days. PokerStars, UB and Paradise bonuses don't expire. Note that you must wait at least 8 hours from your last deposit to withdraw at Party.

Q. Can I deposit to claim a bonus, withdraw, and then just play with the bonus money?

A. You can do this at Pacific. Your bonus money is available to play with immediately, and remains even if you withdraw your original deposit. (Though you must wait for your withdrawal to hit your Neteller account before playing, or your withdrawal will be refused if your balance falls below the bonus amount.)

At all the other major sites, the bonus goes into a pending account and is released when you play the required number of hands. Note that PokerStars and Party bonuses are released in one lump sum. Paradise and Absolute bonuses are released in $10 increments after each 100 raked hands. UB bonuses are released incrementally after each raked hand.

Q. My bonus clears after X raked hands. What constitutes a raked hand?

A. At Party, Pokerstars, UB, Absolute and Paradise, you get credit for a raked hand as long as you are dealt cards and a rake is taken from the pot. (Note that some sites require that the rake be at least $x or that you play above a certain limit ... usually $.50/1 is the lowest limit allowed)

All Tribeca skins, Boss skins, Action Network and many other poker rooms linked to casinos require you to contribute money to a raked pot to get credit. Therefore, you must see the flop, or fold preflop from the blinds.

Q. What is a Crypto PIN?

A. All the Crypto sites, with the exception of William Hill, snail mail you a 6 digit PIN number after your first deposit. You must use this PIN number when withdrawing. The PIN takes 7-10 business days to arrive. You cannot withdraw without this PIN. If you lose it, you must ask them to mail you another. They will not give out the PIN over email or phone.

Q. Someone posted about a Party/Empire reload code (GET15,REAL$100,NOVCASHOUT); but it didn't work for me. What gives?

A. Party and Empire frequently offer account specific reloads to dormant accounts. GET15, REAL$100 and any code with the word CASHOUT or COMEBACK are typically account specific codes. They will not work for you unless you specifically got a popup or email. Global reloads are typically advertised in the upper right hand corner of the poker client or on their website.

If you sign up at their poker room(s); then use that player ID to create a casino account, they do not check for UK/US residency.

A: This is a bug with Crypto's cashier software, E-Cash. When you complete a casino playthrough requirement to clear a bonus, their cashier increases your withdrawable balance even if you do not have an actual balance of that amount.

You still cannot withdraw more than your actual balance. However, if you receive a bonus in the future, it will be partially or completely cleared without having to wager.

A. Sites generally frown upon people using the same Neteller account. They will likely freeze both accounts and require you to send in ID. The correct thing to do is have your whoring partner open their own Neteller account, using their own bank account. In general, if you aren't doing anything fraudulent, you'll be fine.

Q: I'm not very good at playing poker, but there seems to be this program called WinHoldEm. This program can apparently play poker for me, so I just would have to withdraw my winnings?

A: No. First of all, WinHoldEm does not play very good poker. Second, Party (and its skins) are actively tracking the use of this program. If you are caught you may actually lose your deposit, bonus and winnings.

You'll have to learn the hard way: buy an introductory poker book (Krieger, Jones, Hilger) and maybe Small-Stakes Holdem by Ed Miller (though this is more difficult).

A: Neteller will only allow you to have one account per person. Before I
knew that I opened a second account using the same information and both
accounts were locked in under an hour and I had to call them. I talked to
customer support and they said one account per person no exceptions. You are
allowed to open a second account in another currency, but the first account
is closed automatically and all funds transferred to the new account.

A: For all Crypto sites, you should see your bonus reflected immediately after you leave a table. If you are multi-tabling like a good whore, you only have to leave one table. On any of your remaining tables, use the "more chips" option and you should be able to figure out if you've gotten your bonus yet. Be careful though, sometimes the "more chips" option will kick you out of your seat. Make sure you're not in the middle of a hand or just paid the blinds.
