This is going to be one of the least stressful and easiest bonuses I've had to clear yet, and I recommend any other noobs out there to give them a look. It's pretty nice when you actually lose with a bad beat, and end up losing a dollar or two.
When I was doing my research on the site about SportingBet and the Boss Media poker sites (like a good noob; using the search engine to avoid further aggravating the Noob Strike Team); there was some discussion about the clearing of the bonus.
Good news, the bonus is that with 500 raked hands, you can clear $100.
The bad news is that as of this evening and despite what else I've read on the forum, you have to actually have contributed to the rake for the raked hand to count.
But even BETTER news, these hands can be played at the .05/.10 cent NL tables. Rake is taken out when the pot exceeds $2, and let's just say at those levels, there aren't too many hands that aren't getting raked. And the players at those levels are INSANELY bad. I'm actually making a pretty decent buck, and that's BEFORE the bonus has cleared.
Other issues: freakin software. I've been four-tabling since early this afternoon, and if you let your timer run out on one of your tables, I've been getting an
"internal error" that literally kicks me out of every table I'm playing. There is still no easy way to check how many raked hands you have, other than getting on the Live support page in game and asking...which can take between 10-30 minutes to get an answer.
