Posted at May 26, 2006, 5:03 am: Not that I'm sure many here care, or that it makes a great deal of difference given the amount of bonus money that Absolute makes available, but I'll report this anyway. I accidentally made a second deposit on Friday for the VIP bonus (35%/$350) and was credited for the bonus twice (ie. two seperate deposits of $1000 each with code) on the same day for a total of $700 in bonus. I guess this is really useful only if you are on the last day of a bonus with them (say, this coming Monday) and don't have enough bonus $ in your account for the forthcoming week and would like to juice it up a little more, or else you have busted your bankroll and are going to redeposit anyway. On a sidenote, the amounts being provided by AP are now simply obscene. When it was $200 x2 days per week, I could usually clear all $400 by Monday or Tuesday evening (the bonuses were typically Saturday & Sunday), and was back to playing at Party for, uhm, other incentive reasons. Then AP started adding a $200 bonus on Wednesday which I could usually clear and cashout before the weekend bonuses came. Now, with the VIP program, and extra bonus days all over the place, I have well over $4000.00 in bonus money stacked up, and I can't see ever getting ahead of the bonuses at AP ever again even if they keep up half the pace. I haven't quite reached the elite level of VIP club yet, but I have seen a couple of hints from AP suggesting that the VIP 35% that I am getting for VIP/Platinum will be increased to $500 per reload. I realize that this isn't a horrendous problem to have, and with bonus + rb AP is extremely profitable, but I've had to cut back on 5/10 games and try and 6-table 2/4 and 3/6 because the bonus clearing rate is higher on those limits than on 5/10. I'm interested to know how other serious players on AP are handling this at other games/limits.
