Posted at October 26, 2012, 6:43 am: For some reason I wasn't able to post my review. It said I wasn't logged in. Oh Well, here it is: Iwahara is the artist who did "King of Thorns". He is a master. His designs are extemely dramatic with lots of blacks and negative space. Women are very cute and sexy, with round faces and gigantic dark eyes. Men are more angular. Children are SUPER cute. The character designs are more "western", rather then japanese. His material has lots of beautiful, detailed, and realistic backgrounds. The weak point is his plots. This is a gothic about a woman with amnesia escaping from a nuthouse. Although it's predictable it does give him an oppertunity to work on vintage costume design, which is detailed and gorgeous, but sometimes silly. This is a review of the first 12 "scenes". The plot is good enough that I'm interested in what's going to happen and I plan to check out the art in detail several more times. - I strongly recomend this manga! I rate the scans as a 10 - thank you isonokami2! I don't know japanese so I can't rate the acuracy of the translation. I didn't notice any grammer or spelling errors and the english flows well and fits easily with the action. FX are translated and have been photoshoped into the panels. This is perfect as far as I am concerned. There are no honorifics. Thank you Iwahara and storm in heaven!
