Posted at December 4, 2005, 6:57 pm: Now that Poker.com has switched over to a new "comp points" system - based on dealt hands that don't have to be raked rather than contributed like before - I think their bonuses are a lot more attractive. To start, the site has increased the initial deposit offer: They've also extended their Click2Pay promo from last month: The first two offers can be viewed on their website on the "promotions" page, but this last one came via email: Just to add that I believe the initial depositors daily freeroll coupon (valid for a week) is only awarded once, but I don't know for sure. More about Poker.com comp points: Basically, I believe you have to play 15 consecutive hands at a full ring table to be awarded a block of points, or any points for that matter. (Comp points have only been active for a couple of weeks, still adjusting.) I don't play shorthanded so no clue how this translates to 6 max tables. However, you can check the number of hands played / points accumulated in a given session by clicking the "stats" tab on the chatbox. Someone else can do the math on exactly how many hands = x comp points at the various levels. Forget about clearing a bonus at $.02/.04 or $.05/.10, no points to be had that low. Can also get a fixed amount of comp points by buying into tourneys. I have yet to actually take advantage of any of these offers, simply because I have never deposited at Poker.com and am still playing off the fruits of freeroll winnings (In fact, my entire BR has been built on my early results here.) But my funds there - well, everywhere actually - have been dwindling so I plan to do at least the signup and reload before the month is through. Otherwise, anyone else willing to jump on these offers can post their experiences regarding WR, cashout time, ease etc. All I can report on that front is that I have withdrawn my winnings on at least three occassions with some delay but no requests for ID, raked hands, qualifying deposits etc. To the best of my knowledge (based on staff responses in the forum), you can get any and all of the bonuses but have to make a separate deposit for each because of the different codes. No expiry date given for the signup offer, but the Click2pay promo is obviously only valid this month, unless they renew it again. Presumably the maximum bonus available for this one is 60% of $200, but I confirmed with CS that the signup is $100 max on a $200 deposit. No minimum deposit mentioned for the $25 offer.
