Okay, I figured I'd put it out there, as there's little chance of my doing this, but if someone might get something out of it...
Anyway, just signed up for Gaming Club today and started playing at 2/4 to start clearing their bonus. A few hours later, I get a phone call from Sa'id from Gaming Club welcoming me to their poker room and doing a little verification of my identity (for all you out there with your gnomes, be advised), and then went on to tell me in an odd dialect on a static-y telephone line that if I were to play 20000 raked hands (same rake rules as the deposit bonii) within 60 days, that they would credit my account with $1500.
Firstly, today's been my first experience with 2/4, and to have lost $150 and then won it back hand by bloody hand has been exhillerating and heart stopping all at once. To only walk away with 200 raked hands after about 5 hours of single table play (and yes, I was only single tabling seeing as it's a new limit for me), means that it would take me in the ballpark of 100 days to clear, playing non stop.
Okay, I'm sure you could 3 table, 6-max tables and put a dent in this.... anyway in review:
1) Careful if you have a gnome and sign up for this site multiple times; their customer service is turning out to be top notch, as they called to verify my identity.
2) Bonus- $1500/20000 raked hands
Table must reach a quarter, but can only be played at 2/4- 5/10, and then .50/1 NL/PL and higher.
