I'm mad. Why is eBay hiding the true sentiments of customers currently using Half.com? Why is it that eBay always skirts around the one single issue and reason Half.com customers prefer Half.com? How about all those BS stories about people happily leaving Half.com? I've been both a Half.com customer and eBay customers for several years now, and the reason to use Half.com is perfectly clear: No listing fees. Hello? eBay, you there? No listing fees! We sell items on Half.com that may not sell in a week, or a month, or sometimes not even a year. Eventually, though, someone is going to find it who really wants it, and it will sell. I list some CD's for less than $1, so using any kind of fee-based listing is not worth it for me. eBay is about to kill this entire market, and I'll be left to dumping perfectly good items off at Goodwill. The way eBay has been putting a hush on unhappy Half.com users, making it sound like this is "no big deal", is remarkable. Am I the only one that sees that Half.com provides a special market that no other web site currently provides? I've talked to other Half.com users, and they all feel the same way. It's pitiful what eBay is about to do, and being a long-time Half.com user, it feels criminal. This is the kind of thing that I hope will motivate some other web sites to fill the gap that eBay is about to create. I'd be happy to move all my auctions to another venue if it provides the service that Half.com currently provides. I have now joined the ranks of thousands of others who have come to the realization that "eBay sucks".
