just had an interesting hand and curious for feedback. Was playing 10-20 GBP sh at crypto (so like a 20-40 game) and was in SB. BB was pretty weak player but agressive wiht marginal hands and would bet any A pre flop very strong). So heres the hand. Folded around to me in SB where I get Kc8c and I raise to 20. BB cold calls. Flop is AcAs4h. I bet 10, he makes it 20 and I call. Now the river comes a rag, I check he bets. At this point I feel my K high is good and am ready to take it to river. However I feel a CR wins the pot as well. Whats the better play CR and trying to take pot down or check calling and letting villian bet at river. More often than not I CR but this time I really wanted him to bet the river. Sure this plays backfires if he pairs at the end but I guess thats offset by the times when my read is wrong and he actually has a hand.

In this instance I check called turn and river and villian showed down 2-3o for no pair.
