Bodog.com owner Calvin Ayre called for Costa Rica to launch an investigation into the violation of his constitutional rights, theft, damage, loss of filming assets and damage to his reputation, arising from the raid on his San Jose compound. He stated the government’s investigation was of the wrong person, the wrong location and the wrong act, and charged that the 60 to 100 police and immigration officers helped themselves to a buffet of food, and three police officers stripped and took a swim in his pool. They also confiscated two computers, a licensed pistol, and arrested 6 actors posing as bodyguards during the filming of a reality segment. Ayre will meet with prosecutors on Wednesday.
