Hey all
The finished section is now for intermediate and professional level works. Artists needing more assistance or artists just starting out will be posting in the sub-forum Critique Center. We are going to make an attempt to really bring the calibur of work up on the site for everyone..not just the beginners. There is a group of professionals and moderators that will be moving threads to the appropriate areas in order to best be able to assist you all. Posts in these areas will get appropriate critiques. The finished section can deal with more intermediate and high level crits while we can focus on foundation in it's section.
Critiques need to be more constructive and LESS complimentary. Great pieces deserve compliments obviously and don't hesitate to give compliments..but also feel free to be honest about how you think works or artists could improve by offering CONSTRUCTIVE criticism.
We have decided to make an effort here to restructure the forums a bit. We will be launching the new site and it is going to be set up so that members of ca can literally work their way to the main page section on the site
This is how it is going to work very soon
1 every member of ca is going to get two gallery images in their profile. This way, we are all able to see what you do and who you are with one click of a button
2 if you work hard and contribute on the site a select group of admins and moderators will bump your forum ranking which will enable you to recieve more gallery space. We want those who are ready to work professionally to have their works up for easy viewing
3 The next level is going to be an artists spotlight on the new main page of the forums. We currently bring in about a hundred thousand unique visitors per month, as well as members from every major entertainment company, and that spotlight will give a great exposure to those who are ready for it
4 If said artists continue to improve they will then be moved to the main page section of the website which will give them daily exposure to such traffic and will showcase them as a leader here on conceptart.org
So knowing that...please be as helpful as you can to those in the new foundation forum and also feel free to help out as much as you can. We want to make this the best art forum it can be. That means we all have to step up and do great stuff
