I used checkabid.com on my Palm VIIx to check eBay "completed items" prices while in thrift stores and at garage sales. It was a terrific application that made a lot of money for me (and saved me a lot too!) Now, they appear to be out of business. Are there any other good ways to check bids on completed items from a portable device like a Palm or Pocket PC (or cell phone)? I tried the ebay web clipping software for the Palm VIIx, but found it to be REALLY cumbersome to work with (now I hear it's no longer supported). A year ago, I tried a cell phone with ebay connectivity, but same story there. Does anybody use a laptop in their car with a wireless connection? AT&T is offering the "EDGE" service in my area that promises pretty fast speeds (100kbs+ I think). You just plug in a PC card and you're online. Kinda expensive, $80 a month.

checkabid was great- it told me what to buy, and most importantly, what NOT to buy for resale. I'm really going to miss it!
