Okay, obviously, my big $$ drainer is when I play hard fast with TPTK (Top Pair- Top Kicker) and get either outdrawn or over-flopped.
My question is, how hard does everyone else out there play with TPTK? Now remember, I'm here to clear bonuses, and try to keep my bankroll as safe as possible. While I realize that it IS gambling, I also have been doing this for a little bit and have a method that works pretty well.
What about a situation where you have Axs and the X (2-9) pairs on the flop?
Does anyone play mid-low pair on the flop in hopes of drawing bigger?
I find when I get away from TPTK playing, I don't lose as much. I lose heart by the river, especially if someone is either staying with me or being aggressive/donkish. But sitting and waiting for two pair or higher on the flop, or big pocket pairs, means I'm lucky if I'm playing a dozen or so hands an hour....and I bleed from blinds.
