So I think it was you who suggested full ring players take the time to learn short. Well I took your advice, because I got tired of leaving tight tables dominated by 2/3 lags.

It has helped my game alot, and my abililty to profitably whore tight networks. While I have only played 20,000 hands, I at 4.2 BB/100. I dropped ALOT in the beginning, but I took you advice and stuck with it.

So this is what I learned for other adventurous souls:
1) In general, play hands that you would play in middle postion at full.
2) Use strategies in Hold'Em Poker for Advanced Players (Advance Player) by David Sklansky and Mason Malmuth.
3) Attack weakness whenever possible.
4) Induce bluffs from lags and maniacs, and don't fold. I had a hard time adjusting to not folding marginal hands.
5) Value bet strong hands and strong draws like they were monsters.
6) Don't be afraid to bluff.
7) Don't bluff too much.

This has helped my lag isolation and blind d at full rings. The only problem, I have is I can only 2 table short at the given time, so my bonus income has dropped alot.

I don't play anything but 6-max (or 5-max on Pokerroom and Paradise).

I'm assuming this is limit based on the book reference.
