Posted at January 31, 2005, 12:46 pm: I apologize for the slow load times, it is driving me nuts as well. I believe the root of the problem is that our server is too weak to handle our site. Our traffic has been steadily increasing and I believe that this has pushed our server over the edge, causing these slow load times and intermittent inability to load a page. Coupled with this is the fact that our site is most likely sharing this server with other websites. So if our site is having a busy day, and so is another site on our server, we could experience some seriously slow load times. To fix this, I have requested from our hosting company that we either be to a moved faster server or that we reside on our own dedicated server. At the same time I am investigating other hosting options and will move us someplace better suited to handle our traffic if we do not receive immediate satisfaction from our hosting company. We are taking this very seriously?I am waiting to receive some information before I give a definite date that the load time is fixed, but I believe that within 1 week, 2 tops we will be loading at an acceptable speed again. Again I am sorry about the load times, and thank you for your patience while we resolve it.
