As I lay me down to sleep this image popped into my noggin. So I decided not to sleep and instead I painted this, I've never tried this style before, it was quite fun and I'l probably revisit this one when I'm better at painting.
Well here's the second image.
I defined the barbarian a bit more, and played around with the enviroment.
Low level lighting is great fun, and I learn as I go.
I would like to do at least one more image but the next style I want to try will be a bit different to both of the first 2.
the tea cups he is holding are probably empty, and I think she's going to serve bread from her "fisher price" oven.
And finally here is the third installment.
I noticed while the first two are quite soft and cute they rely a lot on the soft colors for the emotion. So I wanted to try get that same feling in Monochrome, I'm quite happy with the result. These pictures have been really fun to do, and when it's fun. it makes for much quicker more enjoyable learning. C+C welcome.
Number 4
This shows the last days of summer, spending a day at the beach.
The little girl is feeding the fish by the way, she would never actually harm the poor little denizens of the sea.
This is the first image that was done completely digital, all the others were doodled in pen first, it was also the hardest to make look good, with no fancy angles or enviroment I was a bit scared.
Warning the story doen't stay happy much longer.
