I have had a rental car for the past couple of days. The manager at the rental place knows me and always gives me an upgrade. The car I have now has Sirius radio in it.

Out of curiosity, I tuned to the Howard Stern channel for a while. It seems that they air the actual show in the morning, then the rest of the day is shows TALKING ABOUT the show.

The thing is, I listened for a while, and I have come to one conclusion: The show is not the least bit funny, compelling, or actually entertaining in any way. It seems like Oprah for men... a bunch of gossip, inside jokes, and potty-mouthed juvenile humor.

Perhaps I am missing something, but I would love for someone to explain the attraction of this show and why Howard Stern warrants a multi-gazillion dollar contract with Sirius.

I just don't get it.
