Any recommendations for a good read for the New Year?

I know there are older threads for this, but it's book-receiving time.

And I also wanted to expand it to all books - any recent books, poker or otherwise, or any classics you have found a soft spot for.

I asked for Psychology of Poker, and have just started on this - I'd heard about it before, so I searched here and it was recommended by Cha Ngo in a thread nearly a year ago. When I started in on it I thought it was only going to be relevant for live play, but I have been pleasantly surprised by the insights so far. I can look back on past plays from myself and against me and see a lot of relevance.

I also asked for the lastest Andy McNabb book too, and the latest Grisham and Terry Pratchett - so it's not all serious.

One of my all-time best recommendations for a serious book, but also a page-turner - shortish book and the first I read in one sitting, when I was in my late teens:
