In the 11/02/03 issue of AuctionBytes-Update, we ran a story about eBay's affiliate program, and how one affiliate was using the content from eBay's site to create high-ranking Google search results.

The Google links from this affiliate would redirect people to the eBay Search Results page, potentially earning money for the affiliate.

How do you feel about eBay allowing affiliates to use the content you've created for your auctions to be used in marketing efforts like this?

Is this a valid use of search engines?

Would you be likely to purchase something from a Google link that redirected you to eBay?

Would you report a link to Google that was using this method of redirection?
