Posted at July 13, 2005, 4:58 pm: Wednesday was the Bodog party. I slept til about 4pm since I had partied with Ace til early in the morning. Woke up when my ex-girlfriend Faylene came back to the room. I had assumed she had been at the pool but find out she had gone to smoke pot with some guy she had met while I was in the tournament the night before. More on that later. Head up to the Ghost Bar for the Ultimate Bet reception. VERY nice. Great spread of shrimp, caviar, etc. Servers walking around with wine, champagne, sushi (I did have a piece Dan) and more. Plus an open bar. I felt like an idiot wearing a name tag though. They had UB gift bags with a visor, a pretty cool t-shirt and some other stuff. Annie Duke is supposed to be there along with Phil but I never saw them. Devilfish was there and was hitting on Fay bigtime. Rain is a kickass nightclub and Bodog spent a ton of money decorating it. Bodog girls are all over the place and they had "Carnivale" dancers on stage looking hot as hell. They turned the private VIP cabanas into a free massage room, cigar rolling, lounge and a photo op place. The photo op was with two naked chicks covered in body paint. They were pretty hot. I asked and they said it took over four hours to apply the body paint! I know my dream job now! Got a few cigars from the cigar rolling room, very nice quality. They had Bodog cigar lighters and cutters also and I snagged a few. These were gone within the first 30 minutes! Met Mike Ditka and the old guy from Coach. Neither were too talkative. Finally found Guacamole and hung out with him and his son for most of the night. We all imbided in quite a few of the free drinks. Guac is a cool guy and hopefully he'll make it to a Whorecon! Also met one of the VIP bouncers for Rain. We got to talking about poker and he said he's interested in learning. So we made a trade. I'm teaching him poker and he's getting me hooked up on all the VIP lists for clubs before I move out there this fall. Damn good deal! The party ended and we headed off to Tangerine to meet some people. We are in the cab line and Fay starts pouting. I ask what's wrong and she doesn't want to go to another club. Now keep in mind, we haven't dated in two years. We have a hard time getting along for long periods, before she arrived I told Ace I wasn't sure if we could make it the entire 48 hours she'd be in Vegas. Anyways, I ask her what she wants to do and she says she wants to go hang out with this guy she met and smoke pot. I tell her to have this guy fly her out to Vegas and pay her bills and she can do whatever the fuck she wants but personally I'm not financing her love life. Fay said that this douchebag had wanted to pay to change her ticket so she could stay a few extra days. It would cost $110 and he said that was "too much"! LOL. Anyways, we get into a heated conversation and she gets all bitchy with me. I told her if she wants to go hang with him while she's on my dime then she can get her fucking stuff out of my room. She agrees. We go upstairs, she gets her shit and I tell her to lose my number this time. Every time I get rid of her she pops up a few months later like a fucking weed. She leaves and I call Ace. He laughs since we didn't make 48 hours afterall. I grab a cab and go meet Ace. I did hear from Fay one more time, she left me a nasty message the next afternoon when she got to the airport and found I had cancelled her ticket. I'm still not sure how she got home. Ace and I went to Tangerine but they wouldn't let him in since he had "boots" on. He showed them that they were shoes and not boots but they didn't like the color (they were tan). So we left there and went to the Wynn to play some poker. We were on different tables for about an hour til I got moved to Ace's table. I immediately started talking about Rounders. I had two guys at my end of the table teaching me how to play poker and everytime I looked at Ace he had his face buried in his hands trying not to laugh. I asked one of the helpful guys who had a UB shirt on if he really trusted these offshore internet sites with his money. He explained how safe it was and I told him I thought internet poker was rigged. This went on forever and these guys thought I was the biggest fish in the world. Ace kept laughing but sadly I didn't get a chance to take advantage of it since the table started to break. We headed to Mirage and I got on a 10/20 table and Ace played some NL. I was tired and buzzed and when I was up a little I told Ace I was going to crash. Turns out he had a crazy NL game going on and he stayed there til 10am playing. Thursday I hung around the Palms and met up with Ace that night. We headed to Wynn but there was a two hour wait for tables. Instead he took me to the New Frontier where we hung out at a country bar and watched "bikini bull riding"! Great fucking time! From there we went somewhere and did more drinking but I'm blanking out on that. Friday was when ZDawg was arriving. Ace and I went to the Rio since Z wouldn't pay for a cab. Instead he was taking the free shuttle to the Rio and planned on walking to Ace's from there (a mile in 100 degree heat). We checked out the WSOP "Showcase" convention and laughed at all the gay shit they had. We got some shirts and something like eight hats and played with play money at the 3 Card Poker table. Some hot chick with big tits was dealing and very friendly. Ace and I cleared her out of chips with crazy bets. I tried to get her to go to dinner with us but she declined. Z showed up and we went to grab a bite to eat in the Rio. Z said he really wanted lobster. Ace looked at him and said "you won't spend the extra $10 on a cab but you want a lobster dinner???". He didn't get lobster and actually we had some shitty food. Ace was still tired from the night before and he took Z home and crashed for a while. I took a power nap also, I had woken up early because I had to check out of the Palms by 11. I hadn't planned on staying that long but Dan called and said he was heading in Friday and made me promise to change my ticket. Of course when I tried to extend my stay (at 5am) the Palms was sold out. So was every other fucking hotel and I had to get a room at Binions! Dan of course never showed up (pussy) and this also cost me getting laid when a hot Rhino girl called at 6am and wanted to hang out and I told her I was asleep since I had to change hotels in a few hours. I meet up with Ace and Z and we head out partying. Went to the Palms and met up with my friend Bruce. I called my bouncer friend at Rain and we were put on the guest list. We went to Rain and laughed at the huge line, they found me on the list and waved us right in. We hung out in one of the VIP rooms for a while and had a few drinks. I tried to talk Z into picking up some chicks with his "do you like clubbing" line but he wouldn't do it. We left Rain and met some chicks at the island bar at Palms. We convinced them that Bruce was actually Adam West in town for a Batman convention and they posed for pictures. We got their phone numbers and did too many shots with them and finally headed to the Rhino. Z had never been to a strip club and the Spearmint Rhino blew him away. Twenties flew out of our pockets. I hit it off with this hot 6'2" who is still calling me, if I go to Aruba I may take her. We were spending money like crazy. At one point I stole Z's phone and had a stripper call his mom. Now Z's mom is a little overprotective. Before Z came out there she wanted Ace's address, phone number AND she wanted his parent's phone number!!! Ace refused to give his parents info and Z was still allowed to come. Anyways, Z flips out and grabs the phone from the stripper and hangs up. It starts to ring immediately and he won't answer. His mom and grandmother called for a few hours before he talked to them. We later found out that they were almost to the point of calling the Las Vegas police and giving them Ace's address!!!!! Now that would have been funny!!! I came back from the 30 min "VIP" room just as Z and Ace were headed with two hotties to the champagne room. I grabbed a naughty and followed them in. It costs $400 per hour and we gladly paid. Great dances and of course you can touch all you want. We traded girls a few times and as the hour ended I heard Z say "but I haven't had a chance to fuck her yet"! Ace is pretty much passed out and I was pissed cuz my girl had shorted me ten minutes (we were ten minutes behind them getting into the room but she ended the same time). We split the Rhino and got hit with sunlight, it was 8:30 am! Ace got in a fight with the cabbie for taking him in the wrong direction. He kept screaming to turn around NOW! The cabbie ignored him and of course was right and dropped off Ace and Z at their place. Z spent over $1,000 in there! Which was 20% of his Vegas bankroll!!! Ace and I each dropped close to $4,000 over the course of our three visits that week! I went to Wynn Saturday and got in a great 15/30 game. Finally I woke those guys up around 8pm and they got to Wynn around 10 or so. I was up around $500 and bored of poker. My 6'2" stripper called and was going to the bar with some friends, they wanted us to join them but Z wanted to play poker and Ace didn't want to see any alchohol let alone have a drink. So we headed to the Mirage. Ace was still a little drunk from the night before and we fucked around at blackjack for a while. I won some money doubling on 14's and splitting everything. Z got on a 10/20 table and Ace and I split. We tried to play BJ Switch but all the tables at Casino Royale were full. We walked the strip and decided to get some food at Imperial Palace. It was after midnight and I had to catch a plane in twelve hours. Ace was beat and wanted to crash. So I took off, headed back to my shithole room at Binions, played a little poker and came home. Great fucking trip. Drank too much and spent way too much on strippers but what else is new. Looking forward to next time!
