Here's the story, we made plans to go to Tahoe for WSOP circuit. I said I was going to play the $500 event and eventually talked Dan into it. About a week ago we made a $100 bet on who goes farther in the tourney. A few days before the trip Dan started pussing out. I told him he'd owe me $100 if he bailed. When we got to Tahoe he said he was playing. So we go out and get fucked up the night before. We drink til 5:30am even though the tourney starts at noon. I pound on his door around 11:30am and he stumbles to the door and tells me he is sick. He claims it's not from the drinking. He says there is no way he can play.

I'm a little irritated but I'm running late so I take off for the tourney. I placed 190 out of 286 after never getting hands. I played 6 hands in three hours. I saw the turn twice. Once I doubled when I hit my nut flush (this put me back at the starting 1500). I got knocked out when I was in the BB with QJo. Folds to SB and he calls. Flop is KJx. He min bets and I call. Turn is Q giving me two pair. Checked to me and I bet 400 which means half my stack is in. He's a pretty big stack and comes over the top putting me allin. I felt I had to call since he's been pretty loose and I was short stacked. Of course he had AT for the straight and I was gone.

When I meet up with Dan later I told him thanks for the $100 since I went farther in the tourney. He protested that this wasn't fair, wah wah wah. I already got Jek and Mrs. Jek's opinion. We tried for JPMcMoney but evidently he doesn't know how to respond to a text message. What do you think?

BTW, this is for informational purposes only. No way am I giving Dan his $100 back unless he really does hook me up with his sister.
