Great article. I've started a website to fight fraud on Ebay. Darn shame that Ebay seems to be more interested in collecting fees than in fighting criminals. Seems that it doesn't matter to them how many thousands of people get ripped off every day.....

I love the way some sites order from sellers to make sure that the items being sold are as described! One can only hope that Ebay catches on, hires some people who actually know what antiques and vintage collectibles are, and starts doing the same.

And allowing sellers to hide feedback and bidder's ids certainly doesn't help either. How is a prospective buyer to know what people are saying if the comments can't be read?

Meanwhile - the seller can leave a nasty retaliatory neg against the buyer/victim. Something isn't right here......
