Alright, thank you all for your patience. The reason things have taken some time to check is that apparently that is a busy month in Vegas. As far as group deals go, or getting a block of rooms for a cheaper rate is concerned, there are not really any viable options. In talking with andrew26, we have come up with the following:
Golden Nugget
They are very excited to hold a poker tourney for us. Basically we can set it up any way we want and they will run it. This definitely looks like it will be the place to hold our bw tourney.
Also, the poker rate for a room is $55 for weekday, $75 for weekend day. You have to play 4 hours a day of poker (cake) to get it.
The thought is this, unless someone stumbles onto a package deal, all whores can make arrangements themselves for where they want to stay, airfare, etc. Andrew and I will put together a day and time for at least 1 tourney (perhaps a second) and a bw dinner somewhere.
The dates are also a ? The dates we are looking at now are Thursday, Jan.20 -Sunday, Jan.23. If this poses a problem to alot of you, we could be looking at mid to late Feb. as the next earliest. This is due to Dec being bad for most with the holidays and misc. issues with most of us for the mixed weekends in Jan and early Feb.
So to sum up:
Dates: Jan. 20-23
BW tourney Sat, Jan 22 at the Nugget (maybe one on Friday too)
BW dinner at TBD Sat. night
Arrangements to be set up individually (unless a deal is mentioned)
Hotel of choice so far: Golden Nugget
