I'm a game design student, currently working on a class project to build a videogame from scratch. i've been doing some concepts for the game.Some of this is old, some new, i'm moving my old thread from the "sketches" forum to the "sketchbooks" forum, so this is all in order from oldest to newest. Still a little new to conceptart. this is approaching the canal leading to the actual swamp where you find the voodoo "crossroads" The Village after the tsunami hit This is of one of the enemies, a zombie woman who appears after a tsunami hits the village A citizen of the village with a gun... Outskirts of town, a flooded house by the coast In the game you travel to the voodoo underworld which is being set in a mangrove swamp. This is a Birds eye view of the forest and a trail that descends into the swampland Establishing shot of the trail Some gun ideas Front of the church Trying to map out how we're going to do the backside of the church Just another work in progress. Sort of a block out of where our static meshes are gonna go An environment shot of the snake den. i dont like it at all but i am posting it anyway, so i can track my progress: This one is of the main characters house, when he comes home after fishing. I'm just posting these as they get done... Some more environment concepts of sorts, this one is pretty self explanitory: Here's some detailed thumbnails of the insides of the giant snake that the player travels through. A step by step progress shot starting with the block out adding form to it Pretty much done with the tree, in this shot, i did an overlay, added more texture, fixed the stairs...did a lot of stuff to it. now all i need is to put a background in. Some figure sketches And last, is a scary lookin upper half of a ninja turtle. Still workin on the lower half and the weapon, but heres what i got so far.
