I just received an email that was a receipt for payment from Paypal. It looked just like every other receipt for payment that I receive from them. The only problem was it was for $318 and I did not purchase or pay for anything that was that amount. I went directly to my Paypal account (I did not use any links in the email!!!) and sure enough there was no transaction for that amount listed. I went back to the email and noticed that there was a statement at the bottom that notifies the email recipient that if the payment was not authorized they should click on the link. This is an obvious phishing scam!!!
I just wanted to give everyone a head up!!
