I sold something to a guy on ebay. He thought I was selling a different model than what I was actually selling, and when I told him it wasn't, we decided to cancel the deal. He had mailed me a check by then. Then, I asked him to at least pay my listing fees and he woudln't. He started being really mean and telling me I was trying to defaud him, and so we started arguing, so I decided to NOT let him out of the ebay contract (bidding and winning the auction) and cashed his check.

Now, he's claiming I "stole" his money and has reported me to the fbi and claims to have called my local police department on me.

Isn't it up to ME about whether to let him out of the ebay bid contract? Can't I change my mind, assuming it was fairly recent? This happened inside of about 2 weeks. Thanks
