Overnight we received 2 new variants on the old PayPal scam.

The first was the same old unauthorized account access by a foreign IP address scam.

A mouse over makes it look like the link is going to a page on Google but is redirected to a personal page on a Road Runner server.

The second one someone put some time into making. The email is made to look like a PayPal Newsletter with all the standard newsletter stuff BUT it also states that my account has been locked and I need to click on the link to unlock it otherwise in 48 hours the account will be terminated.

While this one looks real good, the mouse over reveals another IP address webpage straight to Scamsville.

The real giveaway to both of these was that they were both sent to one of our tech support email addresses that we would never use outside of tech support. They must have gotten it using a scrubbing program or bought it from someone who did.Steve
