Has anyone noticed that the majority of web sites these days are becoming nothing more than affiliate (ad based) copies of one another, with little or no content value?

If you clook closely, most affiliate web sites are simply linking back and forth to each other, making one super humongous worldwide trip back to the same originating point (although disguised well).

Is anyone out there actually making any money from affiliate content these days, including Google AdSense? Or are the sites like Google simply getting richer off the free advertising exposure the millions of small sites are giving them in hopes of making some real money.
