Hi All
After advice,
i downloaded a PDF of a well know Wiley photoshop book and decided to try to sell it on ebay, one copy sold for £2.50, i recieved a email from ebay stating that i was not allowed to sell it and the item had beeen deleted, i have no problem with that, I also deleted the PDF from my computer.

However yesterday i received a letter at my home address in the UK from Wiley stating that i had broken the copyright law and had infinged on there trademark.

Wiley want me to sign a letter basically saying that i will not do it again and send them a check for £50 plus any rev i gained from the sale and so i need to send them a check for £52.50.

Is this legal for them to do?
should i sign the letter and pay the required amount?
Will this get Wiley 'off my back'?
