Posted at April 6, 2006, 11:41 am: Hey Guys , I am hoping to get some support here and inform sellers who are in the same boat as i am now. I had my listings removed on a few occassions because ebay suspected the item i sold as fake and deemed it had violated their policy . I have lost 2 weeks & counting of sales and all my effort in preparing the auctions up for sale . I have sent them tons of email demanding why did they removed my listings w/o explaination but reply i got back were canned answers and asking you to read their policies. Below is what ebay sent me ::: We regret to inform you that your eBay account has been suspended for a period of no less than 7 days for violating eBay's Trademark Misuse policy. Misuse of brand names, trademarks, and logos is both illegal and against eBay policy. This includes inappropriate comparisons to a branded item, selling counterfeit or replica items, and keyword spamming. Unauthorized replicas of brand name products are not permitted on eBay. It is both against the law and against eBay policy to sell replicas that have not been authorized by the manufacturer. Consequently, all of your current listings have been removed from eBay. During this period you will be unable to leave or receive feedback, bid on or sell items, or file for an Unpaid Item credit. Should you need to access information from listings which ended before your suspension period, you can do so by reviewing the notices you received at the time the listings ended. We have taken this action only after careful consideration of the history of violations on your account. We have reviewed carefully each offense that led to this decision and verified that the correct action was taken. While this suspension is active, you are prohibited from registering under a new account name or using another existing account to use our system in any way. Any attempt to reregister or use our system in any way will result in permanent account suspension with no possibility of reinstatement. Please note that any seller fees due to eBay will immediately become due and payable. eBay will charge any amounts you have not previously disputed to the billing method currently on file. Fustrated , i spent $70 to have the last item i was selling authenticated that resulted in the suspension even though i knew they were 100% authentic as i bought them myself just so to get Proof. I do understand that you have paid a third party to authenticate your item, but again this would not be enough evidence to show that this item is authentic. So i got the President of Louis Vuitton Authentification resource centre to write a letter on my behalf, and to my surprise , she did , mind you, this company is authorised to autheticate all LV items by Ebay n Paypal, but "Albert" here for obvious reason doesn't know that .Below is her letter : My Poupette Enterprises, Inc.
