I probably should have asked this question before selling this old 16 mm film reel..... Leave it to me to always wait until the last minute.

What's the best way to ship old film? It's an old home movie on a 16 mm film reel with the original box. I want to try to protect it from moisture (in case the package gets wet along the way or soaked sitting in the buyer's mailbox on a rainy day), but I think placing it inside a plastic bag would be a bad idea with the summer heat. I've been to a good number of outdoor flea markets and seen the moisture build-up on the insides of the plastic bags on warm days, which virtually ruin the paper items inside the bags.
Is there another way to do this?
I was considering placing it inside a tyvek envelope (like the Priority Mail bags, only I bought these at Staples) and then boxing it up for shipping. Would this work ok, or will I still have the same concern of moisture building-up on the inside of the tyvek envelope?
All ideas appreciated!
