I went to check the electronic delivery confirmation on a package I shipped in early November and got a message that said the results are only available offline. Apparently, effective January 1, the USPS website only displays 2 months of delivery results. If memory serves, this used to be up to 6 months. I called the 800 number and they confirmed this and have referred me to my local post office for information on how to retrieve the results. They said this also applies to regular delivery confirmation. I don't recall seeing any notice of this change, and it is extremely inconvenient especially because a charge-back might go back several months.
