Regardless of whether you use Endicia, Stamps.com, ShipOK or any other product, I highly recommend that you use some PC based program for USPS shipping if your volume is over about 30 packages per week.

These programs will allow you to ship a lot faster, well worth the $10-17 monthly fee they charge.

You can order postage on line in less than 2 seconds using your credit card, you can automatically insure packages at a substantial discount from companies like U-PIC, you can use stealth postage when available so customer do not question you shipping and handling rates, and you can usually copy and paste addresses directly from Paypal in a split second.

Additionally, you can apply electronic delivery confirmation to any 1st class pkg (3/4 in thick) for only 13 cents or on Priority Mail pkgs for free. Imagine this: A U.S. customer calls or emails you to claim non-receipt. With Endicia for example, you can check your shipping history in seconds and verify if it shipped and if they did receive it.

In my opinion, these programs are one of the best investments you can make in your business. It saves me at least 5-10 hours of timer each week.
