Stoptazmo's advertising system now includes this blackmail software popup, Winfixer in its "random" cycle. Clicking on it to try and get rid of it starts an installation cycle and it can't be stopped without shutting down my browser (Firefox) completely. After installing it requires you to pay money to get rid of it or to jump through complicated hoops (editing Registry etc.) that don't always work.

Can anyone recommend a free Winfixer blocker that works? There are programs out there that claim to block Winfixer but don't work or are themselves malware. Alternatively can Stoptazmo get their advertiser to remove Winfixer from the list of adverts?
