Hello everyone!
I'm doing a Masters in Animation in the UK at the moment, and have chosen an interesting subject for my dissertation: "Why do we like certain animated cartoon characters?" e.g. Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny,Snoopy, etc.
I've got research from books, journals (including the fantastic Computer Arts Magazine!) and websites, but I want to get your opinions too!
If you don't mind, would you be able to answer a few questions for me? Your thoughts on the subject of character design will be much appreciated!
What is your favourite cartoon/comic/illustrated/game character?
How old were you when you first saw them?
What is is that you like about them? e.g. shape? colour? personality?
