Hi everyone
I'm new to the forum - hope someone can answer my question. I'm designing a book for a non-profit. They've requested that, at the end of the process, I turn over all of my artwork to them, so that they can produce subsequent editions of the book with their in-house designers.
How do I determine a cost to them for buying the rights to reproduce my artwork? I'm assuming there's some formula, based on cover price of the book, print run, etc, to determine that value? If anyone has a good reference book covering this area, please let me know
