Hello everyone, my name is Daniel, I live in Minnesota (USA). I’ve been drawing, with the confidence that I can improve, since mid February of 2005. That’s about the time when I got my first sketchbook, a comfortably small, 70pg , 9x6. This is the first page:
I have since finished that sketchbook and moved onto larger ones. I’ve been meaning to post a sketchbook for quite some time, so I’d like to include a ton of pages from the last few months, however, I do not mean for this to be a “dump”, so if it’s too many images please let me know and I will make it a smaller selection. I’d be very interested (not to mention grateful) to read your comments and critiques of what progression I’ve made, as well as the places where I’m having trouble.
What I’d like to gain from posting an updated sketchbook is the advice and motivation to improve and the encouragement to try new things. I would also hope that this will help me to interact with the community more. (For every c&c I receive I will find 4 threads to offer a genuine reply.)
The following are from imagination, photo reference, master works, and observation.
