This topic was recently brought up in the thread entitled 'EAA+CHO During WO: The Anti-Catabolic Solution...' http://www.forum.bodybuilding.com/sh...d.php?t=883234 . So, I thought it more appropriate to start a thread specific to this topic in hopes we can initiate another intelligent to answer a couple key questions:

1) Are dietary MCTs (medium chain tryglcerides) and/or IMTGs (Intra muscular triglycerides) a viable source of energy during ANAEROBIC exercise?
2) Does CHO (carbohydrates) provide the best source of energy for ANAEROBIC exercise?

The answers to these questions will undoubtedly raise many factors such as:

a) Does preWO diet effect the rate at with MCTs are used during ANAEROBIC exercise?
b) Does preWO diet effect the rate at which glucose is used during ANAEROBIC exercise?
c) Will pre/during WO doses of CHO and/or MCT negatively impact hormonal output during ANAEROBIC exercise; such as growth hormone, insulin, and IGF-1?

The production of ATP during the workout, amongst these and other factors, will play a vital role in how I approach both dieting and pre/during WO nutrition.
