Since I am focused on training for the 60-mile walk in October, right now I only have 2 days a week to do strength training.

I am a beginner, so I want to stick with exercises I'm confident in. (Have done or have seen done.) I prefer dumbells, for now - one side of my body is significantly stronger than the other and if I use a barbell it'd be too easy for the stronger side to do most of the work.

I'm looking at doing 2 sets of each exercise, 10-12 reps. (Except crunches - I'll do 20 of those.)

After having read and chatted with a few people, it seems like the best route is to do a full body routine twice a week... but here are my questions:

- Is it OK to do that routine on Wednesday and Friday, or would it be better to switch one of my walking days so that I can do it on Tuesday and Friday?

- Should the routine be the same both days, or should I do two slightly different full body routines?

- Am I trying to fit in too many exercises in order to be sure I work the whole body? (Routine below - I've put an asterix by the ones I'm thinking about cutting out)
