Hey everyone. I just started box squatting again today (and will for a few weeks before going back to normal squats), and got up 5x315 going at least an inch if not more below parallel. I feel that I could have done about 325-330, but played it safe for today. I can squat 420x5 to parallel. my question is, does this ratio seem normal? I had to drop about 100 lbs to get up the same amount of reps with box squat. I know that my regular squat is to parallel because I have studied videos of it, but was just wondering if this is normal or not. I also have not box squatted in about 1.5 years.
