I am an "old" MOOGER from the days even before the MiniMoog Model D.
One of the "keyboard tricks" that the old Mini's did was to have the ability to let's say....Hold a "D" note on the lower side of the keyboard, press a "D" note two octaves higher (while still holding that original key) and then when that second key was released the moog would return to the original "D" which was still depressed. An example would be like the famous and distinctive glide during ELP's "Lucky Man". I'm sure that get the idea. Or even the "non-gliding" beginning to Foreigner's "Feels Like the First Time".
(Obviously I'm working with a retro classic rock group)
I don't seem to be able to accomplish this effect with my Rack Mount Voayager. I have played around with the Keyboard Mode (Lower Key, Higher Key, Last Key, 1 Key Only) as well as the Trigger Mode. Neither seems to have any effect on the sound at all.
I can only get the effect I am looking for if I first release the the original key and for obvious reasons, this is difficult to do.

I figure there are three possibilities....
1. I'm doing something wrong.
2. There is a defect in the unit
3. The unit simply does not operate in this way.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks,
JoePianoMan
