Posted at September 30, 2006, 7:31 pm: Hello to everyone. I am a newbie to this forum and a newbie to eBay. And I am really hyped up at doing a online business and gaining that income. If it goes well I will eventually wanna do a full time.. But before all that I need to get started and I'd really appreciate all the help I need. I am in my early 20s and living in Hong Kong, and sadly not much experience in online trading yet. I've been searching for relevent info for eBay starters online for a while and couldnt find much about initially starting off in Asia especially China. I would really much love to learn how to do eBay in China. Mostly looking at importing into NA and Europe. For one I figured I wouldnt need dropshipper list? Since we got handfull of factories here. Which raises my biggest question - where/how to start? And what sites or links or tutorials I can check out first? To plan for an appropriate and profitable business model? Tax, trade and legal issues are also my concern. I have a small budget for this (about US$2K), electronics like mp3s and computer goods is something I want to stay away from cause I figured it's a niche too competitive? So if I buy in bulk cheaper items and import them to say the States, what are the tax, trade and legal issues that I should beware of? Folks I know there are more than one question there. But it would mean a lot for me - I want to start this and I do mean Now. Not my intention to be Omniscient but at least I need to know what are needed to get it started.
